Welcome to MechJunkie! This site will probably be a pretty random ride. The coaster I’m on is primarily a Linux one but in general I’ll be chatting about servers, networking, mechanical keyboards, software in general, and really anything that interests me.
Hopefully in the near future I’ll be putting together a series of videos that will (hopefully) walk beginners through an install of Arch Linux using archinstall and various scripts I’ve created in order to give people a really nice starting point on their journey. I’ll be covering the basics of Arch as well as an introduction to the Gnome and KDE Plasma desktop environments.
I realized that this concept isn’t new. There are a TON of great folks that are making this kind of content. I want to add my own experiences out there and share all the things that I’ve learned and built over the last 2 years of running Linux full time.
